Welcome to the Command and General Staff College, and congratulations on your selection to the Interagency Exchange Program. This program offers a unique professional development opportunity for US Agency and Army participants. It offers a collaborative educational and training partnership in which all parties gain expertise and experience in solving today’s joint problems.    

 

 
       
  Prerequisites  
       
  The P920 Course is required for all CGSOC students. It is available online through the Student Blackboard (https://courses.leavenworth.army.mil/) with an AKO username and password, and must be completed prior to the start of CGSOC. Required courses are Organization, Doctrine, Logistics, Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Symbology.  
       
  The CGSOC Preparatory Course (P930) is required for international military students, US Army Chaplain, Judge Advocate General, AMEDD officers, US Army Reserve officers, and Sister Services; US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine and US Coast Guard officers, and government agencies. Instruction includes US military terminology, organization, tactics, logistics, and command and control. The preparatory course for CGSOC Class 2010-01 is scheduled for
21 July through 30 July 2009.
 
       
       
 

Key Information

 
       
  In-processing for CGSOC 2010-01 class is scheduled from 21 through 31 July 2010. Upon arrival, students in the Preparatory course will be required to sign up for an in-processing appointment during the afternoon of one day during that time period. Students sign up for an afternoon in-processing appointment to avoid missing class. Sign-up sheets will be posted outside the US Student Division, Room 4543 in the Lewis & Clark Center.  
       
  You must arrive here with a valid Army Knowledge Online (AKO) account.  If you do not have an account, contact the US Student Division at (913) 684-7313/7327 or LEAV-USSDWEB@conus.army.mil.  
       
  If you are authorized a Department of Defense Common Access Card, please obtain one prior to your arrival at Fort Leavenworth. If not, you will be issued one through the Fort Leavenworth ID Card Facility on your reporting day (13 through 20 February 2009). Contact the US Student Division for more information.
