The reference staff in the Classified Documents Collection assist patrons in locating documents, final reports, after action reports, lessons learned or doctrinal publications produced
either for or by the Department of Defense, US government agencies, or government contractors.

Archives and Special Collections
The Archives department in the Combined Arms Research Library assists patrons in locating materials from the archival and special collections holdings of the library.
CARL's Archives is a collection of the Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth Archives (1973 to the present), the College Archives (1881 to the present), the Grenada, Panama, VII Corps
Gulf War, Hurricane Andrew, Somalia and Haiti Collections.
Special Collections contains rare books (most on military topics from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries), personal
papers, architectural drawings and blue prints of the fort, photographs and obsolete Army authority publications.

Classified Services
The Classified Documents Floor will provide to staff, faculty, students, or other Department of Defense Personnel
access to a STU III (Secure Telephone Unit), a classified word processor, a classified mailing address, or storage for classified materials.
